Dexter Fowler, member of the World Series Champion Chicago Cubs (yes Cubs fans! It’s still real!), like any good guest, didn’t show up to empty handed during his recent trip to The White House. In fact, he brought along a pretty great gift—a pair of one-of-one custom Air Jordans, which he handed Barack Obama during his last week in office. (Sorry to say this fact is also still real.)

The patent leather Jordan IVs are decked out in Barack Obama insignia. First, the aglet on the laces (the little thingy between the laces on the first loop) is replaced by the official Obama logo. Next, the presidential seal is located not only on the box, but on the tongue of the sneaker. Obama’s signature is also lasered near the heel. All this considered (plus the fact that no one else could technically legally use these logos), these Jordans might very well be the rarest Air Jordans in America.

Style-wise, considering they’re the inherently fancier patent leather and an old-school Jordan silhouette, they probably won’t look half bad in some off-duty but still totally-presidential look Barack Obama may sport over the next few years. Thing is, despite the “controversies” of his mom jeans and tan suit, we’ve only gotten rare glimpses into Barry’s weekend style over the past few years. But now that he’s able to relax a little bit, we’re hoping he embraces his inner cool kid, and these Jordans would be one very strong place to start.
